We have changed the way you access Newtons.
KISI was a great bit of hardware and software that communicated with our coworking software when we started in 2018. We no longer run this software, so we no longer need to keep KISI for access to the building. You can go ahead and remove your KISI app.
We have opted for a simpler SMART lock for the main FRONT DOOR and the rear BACK DOOR to allow easy access with a fob or passcode. They work differently from the mag locks, so the door needs to be pulled closed to ensure the latch returns to the keeper and the door is locked.
The swap occurred today, 30th October 2024, and I guarantee I did not look like this when installing them. A generic temporary passcode will be issued to cover entry until all the fobs have been issued.
Fobs will be programmed and then left inside offices or on desks for collection over the next week.
Future issues such as lockouts or malfunctions should be simpler to tackle.
If you get locked out we can remote open the door or provide a one-time use passcode and should the lock malfunction we are able to supply an emergency key from a key safe which will unlock the door.

Rear Access
The lock on the main front door is the same as the rear back door, your fob or passcode will work on both. This means with the code for the back gate you can access the building from the backstreet.
