Leaving With Arrears
If you have deposit with us we will issue a claim against your deposit for the rental arrears and may make further claims depending on the state of the property, interest on money owed, cleaning, administration fees and other items.
Depending on the outcome of any deposit claim we will then start the process for a County Court Judgement. This process will typically start 4 weeks after the end of your licence or tenancy. A CCJ will affect your credit rating. There will also be further fees added to your arrears as part of the application.
What To Do Next
You can help reduce the arrears and stop further action by emailing us (email now). We are more than happy to look at all options which we can both agree on. However, please be aware we will base our decision on past payments and communication with the office. There will also be a minimum requirement to pay to help manage the arrears.
