A real favourite of the team, Newtons was long-established, well-known furniture and antique shop for over 100 years. The building situated on The Rock had been stood in its position since the 1700s being added on to over centuries as Bury the town developed around it. With its long-running custodians, many features had remained within the buildings and it was these gems that we kept in place and in areas reproduced to keep that regal and homely feel. In 2017 we refurbished the complete building creating an open coworking space on the ground floor, meeting rooms in the brick vaulted, Georgian cellar and 10 unique office spaces throughout the building. In 2020 we developed the back yard and The Coach House into usable outside space and 80sqm of usable inside space. Newtons is now an active part of Bury’s high street is a business hub attracting its office tenants, coworking members, virtual office users, and those in private meetings or larger events.
